Spending time in Curiosity, Discovery, Invention and Realness helps us bring fresh thinking to each and every brief and has already produced a number of award-winning campaigns for Just:: and our clients.
- Curiosity The first stage of our roadmap is about taking and interpreting the brief. We challenge ourselves to ask the right questions, really get under the skin of what our client wants and needs, and most importantly listening to them.
- Discovery is where we get to roll our sleeves up and dig deep to find valuable information. We will often speak to a 'Naïve Expert' from 'another world' to spark our creative electrodes into identifying new insights. Sometimes our clients like to get involved so we hold discovery workshops with them, looking for that golden nugget that will underpin the communications programme experienced by our target audience.
- Invention gives us the chance to play Einstein for the day! We work together to brainstorm in a highly energized environment using stimulus and creative techniques to generate ideas. From greenhousing, to capturing raw ideas using 'related worlds', we nurture an idea by delving into the key emotions or barriers. Sometimes we role-play how the patient would feel in a similar situation to see the world through their eyes. When you think outside the square you'd be surprised how round an idea can be!
- Realness is about bringing the 'best fit' idea to life. We use our harvesting tools ('Vote on the Goat' and 'Hokey Spokey') to suspend judgement and critique an idea against what we need to achieve rather than what feels cool or easy! Packaging up and delivering the idea for our clients is extremely important to us as is collaborating with our clients to get to the end result. At Just:: we welcome health-check meetings at agreed points in a programme and encourage ongoing feedback.
